Canterbury West Coast Wood Council – 2024 Forestry Awards

The Canterbury West Coast Wood Council 2024 Forestry Industry Awards are to be held on Friday 2nd August, 5pm at the Te Pae Convention Centre in Christchurch.
This is an important night for CWCWC Members to celebrate the success and achievements of outstanding individuals and companies working in our industry.
This year there are 10 Awards Categories that cover the full supply chain: Business Innovation, Forestry Excellence, Harvesting Excellence, Distribution Excellence, Wood Processing Excellence, Crew of the Year, Emerging Talent of the Year, Outstanding H&S, Outstanding Environmental Management and Outstanding Contribution to the Forestry Industry.

Nominations for these will Awards will be open from 1st April and close on the 7th June 2024. Nomination Forms will be available during these dates at https://www.cwcwc.co.nz/awards-home/ Nominations can be made by your company, your manager, your colleague or you can self-nominate.
Judging will commence from the 8th June by our expert judging panel: John Hawkins (Stoneyhurst Timber), Mark Grover (Former GM of Operations for Rayonier Matariki) and Dr Elizabeth Heeg (CE of the NZ FOA). The Award Winner Announcements will take place at the dinner on Fri 2nd August.

With your ticket you will receive a free complimentary drink on arrival with a cash bar offered for the night, along with a full course dinner that will be prepared and served by the catering team at Te Pae. The entertainment will be lively with Jackie Clarke returning to the stage, alongside other Canterbury West Coast Wood Council members.
